Pilates is a rigorous yet healing movement modality that lengthens the body, strengthens the core, and activates the power center of your being. The exercises emphasize alignment, precision, centering, control, breath and flow. Challenging yet accessible to all ages and activity levels, pilates can serve as the foundation for physical healing, re-alignment, healthy aging and high performance in all aspects of life. Private Sessions are the foundation of a Pilates practice, as they empower the practitioner establish proper form and alignment in each exercise and extend such alignment into their daily life. These sessions will utilize a pilates or yoga mat, no other equipment necessary.
